million dollars (USD) in damages from the actor and his production company
after suffering broken bones, cuts and bruises in the filming of the World War
Two picture "Valkyrie" in Berlin last year.

Brad Pitt made a splash by arriving in Venice by boat. Hollywood's leading
man is meeting up with friend George Clooney at fund-raising event on Tuesday
(August 26, 2008) before hitting the red carpet at the Venice film festival
for the premiere of their latest picture "Burn After Reading."

An Islamic civil rights group is unhappy with the title of Warner Bros.'
upcoming film "Towelhead." They say it's derogatory and want the
studio to change the film's name.

Australia is re-thinking its decision to give gangsta rapper Snoop Dogg a
visa after complaints from a crime victims groups. The singer, who's scheduled
to tour down under in October, has a criminal record that includes several
drugs and firearms charges since 1990.

Charlie Sheen, star of the hit U.S. television sitcom "Two and a Half
Men," says that he and his wife Brooke Mueller are expecting their first
child together. The 42-year-old star married Mueller this past May after a
bitter divorce from actress Denise Richards in 2006. Sheen has three other
children.
