Putting behind them a tough couple of years, Venus Williams and her sister Serena walked away champions from the 2008 Wimbledon Championships.

17 years after being photographed with their father, Richard, practicing on public courts in their hometown of Compton, California, the Williams sisters held court at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, basking in victory. Venus had beaten her little sister in the Women's Singles final and together they won the Women's Double final.
