Launched nearly 20 years ago, the Hubble Telescope has been providing
the world with glimpses of the far corners of space, proving just how
small we really are.
Hubble has had four servicing missions
since its launch and will have its fifth and final when Atlantis
launches on its 11 day STS-125 mission in October 2008.
This should allow Hubble to continue to function until its successor, the James Webb Space Telescope is launched in 2013.
