The Islam Channel in the UK produces a game show series which pits Muslim,
Jewish and Christian religious figures against each other to promote
integration.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM ISLAM CHANNEL -
"FAITH OFF" PRODUCER ABRAR HUSSAIN
SAYING:
"I think overall, we're trying to show that different faith groups
in the UK can get on, number one, and that there is harmony between the
different faith groups because obviously in the media, you often hear about
the conflict and the opposition. People come with intimidation of different
faiths and some kind of power struggle, but we're trying to show that when you
get normal people in to a safe space like our Islam Channel studio there's
actually a really good atmosphere between the people and that's one the most
pleasing things about the show -- is that you've got Jewish guys and Muslim
guys joking and laughing together, and that was one of the main aims of the
show, to show that that was possible and to show that this is an initiative
that's going to be a long-term initiative and something that we can really
build on and can add substantially to the debate about interfaith in the
UK.

The third round is my favourite round, that's like the "Home
and Away" round. So say if you have a Jewish guy, he can either answer a
question on the Jewish religion and get one point for it or he can be more
risky and answer a question on the opposing team's faith and get more points,
and we're rewarding them with more points, so basically they can show off
knowledge about other faiths and that's what you get rewarded for in the
show.

The Muslim audience needs to know about the Jewish religion, needs
to know about the Christian religion, needs to know about other religions. And
for Muslims ourselves, it's very important that we show that we're learning
about different religions and also sharing of our religion as well."
