Fourteen pound baby (6.4 kilograms) born in California.

LAGUNA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (DECEMBER 27, 2008) NBC -
A family in California brought home a considerably larger
"bundle of joy" this holiday season. Richard Walker Sault was born
on December 23rd at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills, California -
weighing a hefty 14 pounds, two ounces (6.4 kilograms). Baby Richard is one of
the largest babies ever born in Orange County.

The newborn was delivered via C-section. Two doctors were needed to lift
him during the procedure.

The baby's parents were amazed at the size of their son.
"It's just shocking," said mother Sara Sault.
"Our daughter, she was a big girl and she walked at ten
months," said father Richard Sault. "Junior here looks like he could
get up and walk out of the hospital right now."

The Saults brought their son home from the hospital on Saturday
(December 28).
