Despite the global economic crisis, Tunisian banks remain on solid
ground.
TUNIS, TUNISIA (RECENT) REUTERS -
MOHAMMED AL-FARYOUWI, UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR,
SAYING:
"Tunisia did not buy American bonds, Tunisian banks did not
buy American bonds which are risk-laden. That is why we have been spared the
crisis. In general, Tunisian banks do not have American bonds. So avoided the
losses that occurred."
MOHAMMED AL-FARYOUWI, UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR,
SAYING:
"The banking system has to be revised to ensure caution as well as
integration in the global economic cycle."
