eBay Invites Developers to Explore Opportunities in Commerce,
Communications and Community at Fifth Annual Developers Conference;
Industry Luminaries and Innovators Gather to Discuss Trends and
Opportunities on the Web

(Nasdaq:EBAY)(www.ebay.com) today announced an invitation to
developers, affiliates and entrepreneurs to join the company at the
Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, June 10-12, 2006 for
its fifth annual Developers Conference. eBay Inc. gives developers the
opportunity to create innovative applications and build successful
businesses that span Commerce, Communications and Community. The eBay
Developers Conference 2006 will explore this theme with industry
thought leaders and innovators such as Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay
and CEO of Omidyar Network, Scott Cook, founder and chairman of the
executive committee at Intuit and Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief of
Wired, as well as executives from eBay, PayPal, Skype, ProStores and
Shopping.com. Keynote speakers will discuss technology innovations
happening on the eBay platforms, at eBay Inc. and across the Web that
will allow developers to help shape the future of e-commerce.

The eBay Developers Conference 2006 will kick off with keynote
speeches, product and program announcements that will help developers
realize the economic and innovation opportunities available to them
through the eBay Inc. developers programs. Sessions will be offered on
developer and affiliate opportunities in commerce, communications and
Web integration, covering such topics as AJAX, XUL and tagging.
Attendees will gain insights into building successful businesses
through in-depth technical and business sessions, hands-on labs and
demos of new technology, and exchanging ideas with fellow innovators.
Registration for the eBay Developers Conference includes admission to
eBay Live! 2006 (June 13-15), eBay's fifth annual community
conference, also at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The standard
conference fees are $395 for the general attendee package and $245 for
a single day pass. Developer attendees who register before April 16th
will receive a $100 discount on general registration and a $50
discount on the day pass registration. At the door, registration
prices will be $445 and $275 for the general and single day passes,
respectively.
