World's First Aromatherapy Robe
Vencor International Debuts World's First Aromatherapy Robe
New Technology Infuses Essential Oils and Herbs Into Fabric to Create
Therapeutic Benefits
LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/25/06 -- Vencor International
(OTC: VCOR) and its subsidiary RobeWorks are pleased to announce its
new line of aromatherapy robes. The company intends to sell the robes
into retail and end-user accounts, including hotels and spas.
Ben Armijo, Spokesperson for Vencor stated, "We are pleased to be
moving forward with the restructure and rebuilding efforts at Vencor.
Excitement about this new product, an innovative therapeutic
aromatherapy robe, and other opportunities soon to be announced, will
be the driving force behind the success of our company." He added, "We
are spending a great deal of time and effort revamping our sales and
marketing, bringing in the right people, at the right time to help us
regain and exceed our prior position in this marketplace."
In ancient times, aromatherapeutic and herbal remedies were used as
medicines to treat various conditions. Today, we use the same natural
therapies to heal the mind, body and soul. For example, Bergamot, a
small citrus fruit, comes from the Italian town of Bergamo. Bergamot
essential oil has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, thereby
enhancing the body's own immune system. Bergamot has been indicated to
be helpful with mouth and throat infections, flu symptoms, shingles
and chicken-pox. The uplifting, refreshing aroma of Bergamot makes it
ideal for revitalizing baths. Cosmetically it suits both combination
and oily complexions. Bergamot and all of the other essences we use
enhance, cleanse, and purify all the senses.
As previously announced, Vencor management was able to successfully
reach a settlement with all parties involved in prior litigation
against the company and emerge from chapter 11. "Now, management can
concentrate on the growth and development of our core business," added
Armijo. "Litigation made it very difficult to recapitalize but now
with the reaching of a settlement, we can proceed with obtaining the
proper capital needed for fulfilling orders in a timely manner so we
can sustain and expand our market share."
