Brooke Shields: An Amazing Woman

I grew up in love with Brooke Shields. Ever since I saw the
movie The Blue Lagoon, I had a huge crush on her. Her character
in that movie was so innocent and so beautiful; I do not know
how you could not fall in love with her. If I was stranded on a
deserted island I would definitely want to be stranded with her.
I also liked that movie quite a bit, because it seemed like it
would be fun to live on an island all by yourself with no one
else to tell you what to do.

After that movie, Brooke did many other smaller movies and
television shows over the next ten to fifteen years. Another
major period of her life was her relationship with the famous
tennis player, Andre Agassi. Their relationship was highly
publicized. However things did not work out between them, and
they were divorced two years later.

In the late nineties and early twenty first century, Brooke
Shields' career switched focus more to television shows. She
had a huge hit in the show Suddenly Susan, which I enjoyed very
much. I thought she was very good on that show, and she still
looked amazing.

After that show ended, she has made many cameo appearances on
very successful television shows such as Friends, That 70's
Show, and Nip/Tuck. Brooke has backed out of the spotlight a
little bit in recent years; because she has slowed down to
spend more time with her daughters. She was struck with a very
tough bout of depression after her first daughter was born, and
she put her experiences down on paper in her book about what
many women experience after childbirth. She was recently in the
news again, because Tom Cruise was talking badly about her using
antidepressants after her first daughter was born.

When all was said and done both parties apologized for their
remarks, and they have patched things up. Brooke Shields is an
amazing woman, and she has done some great things throughout
her lifetime.
