My name is Esther Banda, (19) from Zambia. I'm the reigning Miss Southern Africa UK, which I won in October 2005. As part of my price I won a return air  ticket to Victoria Falls courtesy of Air Zimbabwe. I will be travelling there in June. One of my responsibilities as the current Miss Southern Africa is to work for the less priviledged people of Africa.

 

As an influential member of the African community here in the UK, I am inviting you to my farewell/fundraising reception to be held on Friday the 26th of May from 7pm til late at The Rugby Portebello Trust in Ladbroke Grove (London). The purpose of this reception is to raise funds for the children that I will visit in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and  Kitwe (Zambia). www.funsani.org.uk This would also be a great opportunity to network with people in the fashion industry, promoters, business people, charity workers and other beauty queens.
