The British Ministry of Defense confirmed that Prince Harry has been serving in Afghanistan's Helmand Province since December.

Following leaks in the international media about his deployment, officials are now reviewing whether he should remain there. The Defense Ministry said Prince Harry has been serving with the British Army in Afghanistan for 2-1/2 months.

Following leaks in the international media about his deployment, officials are now reviewing whether he should remain there.

The video shows Prince Harry expressing how he felt before his deployment.

Prince Harry, saying ;

"A bit of excitement, and a bit of phew - finally getting to do the soldiering that I wanted to do ever since I joined really, a bit of everything I think."

The 23-year-old was due to be sent to Iraq but those plans were scrapped in May.

The British Ministry of Defense determined he could be deployed to Afghanistan if his presence there was not reported.
