eBay Inc.s CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), Dave Cullinane, Commends the Great Cooperation and Global Collaboration Between Romanian and U.S. Agencies

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eBay (Nasdaq:EBAY) today publicly thanked the Romanian General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (DGCCOA), in cooperation with the United States Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for successfully arresting cyber-criminal Vladuz, who had attempted to defraud eBay users.

Despite numerous efforts to defraud eBay users via accessing administrative accounts, Vladuz was unsuccessful in his attempts.

eBays global fraud investigation team, were directly involved in the investigations and provided a physical presence supporting local Romanian law enforcement who led the arrest.
