3 Reasons To Fix Windows Errors
Author: Logan Albright
Most windows users do not realize that they have to have
something extra in order to keep their computer at its optimal
shape in time to come. The windows registry often gets
overloaded with information that seems to be both important and
useless. Each time you install an application or save a file or
do anything on your computer, remember that it is being
reflected in your windows registry. With time, the registry gets
clogged up even more until it slows down your computer. As such,
you would want to take note of checking and fixing your computer
to prevent it from crashing every now and then
Windows Registry Repair Application
You have to get a windows registry repair application in order
to fix your Windows registry. The other method is to repair it
manually; however that would take a long time and may even end
up in failure if you are not familiar with how it works. If not,
you would just be creating more trouble and causing more harm to
your computer and may even damage it to the extent that it is
irreparable. The optimal solution is to get a Windows XP
registry repair tool such as RegCure or Registry Fix. There are
different types of errors that programs such as RegCure and
Registry Fix attempt to fix in the windows registry. However,
three of them are considered the most common and damaging and
they are the three reasons why you should check and fix your
computer's registry occasionally.
1. Orphan and Redundant Keys
Each time a new program is installed, the registry reflected
and records it down, however in an ideal situation, after
deleting the particular program, its record should also be
erased from the registry, but this is not so. It is also not so
for the entries to update itself along with the updating of any
kind of software. As a result, it would leave entries that are
useless and false in the registry that only serves to slow down
the functioning of the computer only. Before long, it would just
store up to become too much and may eventually crash the
computer.
2. Embedded Entries
Some programs require the protection of the licensing from
being accidentally altered by users. As such the programs would
embed these keys into the registry however this is a one way
type of thing. After being embedded into the registry it is
almost impossible to take them out again and eventually these
keys would slowly build up and cause the computer to slow down
or even die out.
3. Shutdown Failure
Sometimes, we do not shut down our computer in the right
fashion due to the failure of power. As such, when the registry
is being updated when it is shutting down, the failure to do so
can cause irreparable damage to the registry. Thus we must
always remember to shut down our computers in the proper way and
not take the easy way out or face the consequences of ruining
our own computers.
