ADTI to Unveil Groundbreaking Video Billboard Technologies
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 5, 2005--Advance Display Technologies
Inc. (OTCBB:ADTI) announced today that its ADTI Video Solutions Group
will be introducing new proprietary video billboard technologies in
Las Vegas this month. Billed as "Opening Eyes To The Future," the
event will feature two new full-color, high-resolution digital signage
technologies, FiberVision(TM) and UltraNet(TM).
This special product-launch event will provide selected advertising
executives, including creative and design specialists, an opportunity
to experience these attention-grabbing new video solutions in action.
The event will be held on Dec. 7, 8 and 9 at the JW Marriott Resort,
221 N. Rampart Blvd., Las Vegas, NV.
President and CEO Matthew W. Shankle said, "Our UltraNet LED displays
have eye-popping full-motion video that can be as big as a building,
with images that can be stretched flat or wrapped around corners or
objects, removing many of the physical limitations that have acted as
creative restrictions for displaying Out-Of-Home daytime advertising.
And UltraNet is completely portable, permitting the user to roll up
and move a flexible netted web with 50mm-150mm pixel pitch full-color
LED display that can be built to any size."
Shankle added, "We are equally excited about the possibilities for our
FiberVision technology. FiberVision's street furniture fiber optic
video display, with high-resolution, sunlight-readable, sharp, clean
and color-correct imaging, can be continually updated via computer
link-up without having to rebuild signs. For modern advertisers with
continually changing campaigns, this is a very exciting way to reach
the new, screen-friendly, audience."
ADTI will also be showing its PM Video (PMV) LED product line. PMV
replaces a static image with a dynamic video image-enhanced vinyl by
day and dazzling high-contrast video by night. The PMV's LED clusters
protrude through the vinyl face of the billboard panels which are
quickly changed out for new copy and, as with other ADTI digital
signage, the digital content can be modified any time for instant
change of the campaign message.
ADTI launched its new www.advancedisplaytechnologies.com on Nov. 17,
2005, and began an active direct-mail advertising campaign to industry
executives to promote the upcoming product-launch event in Las Vegas.
