U.S. actor Dennis Hopper is suffering from prostate cancer.
The 73-year old's manager announced the actor's illness on a website on Thursday.
He's now cancelled all travel plans to focus on his treatment.
Hopper's famous for his roles in films such as "Easy Rider" and "Apocalypse Now".
More recently he's been appearing in a television adaptation of the 2004 Oscar-winning film "Crash".
The actor was released from hospital earlier this month after showing flu-like symptoms during a trip to New York.
He was then treated for dehydration.
Hopper was forced to cancel his appearance at an exhibition in Melbourne showing his artwork and photography.
He said in a statement that he was very disappointed.
He's now undergoing treatment at the University of Southern California.
