"NOTORIOUS B.I.G. DUETS" Continues Huge Chart Presence: Holds #1 Rap
Spot, Notches 3rd Week in Top 10 on Billboard 200


NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/17/06 -- In its third week on the
national charts, "THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. DUETS: THE FINAL CHAPTER" (Bad
Boy Records) continues its huge presence on the national charts. The
most eagerly anticipated album in hip-hop history, it has reigned at
#1 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums chart since its release. The
collection, which has sold nearly 700,000 copies to date, made its
debut on the Billboard 200 at #3, and ranks this week at #7. The
collection also earned the magazine's "Hot Shot Debut" crown for its
bow on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the #3 spot, where it
remains this week.


"Nasty Girl," the first single from the album, was produced by Jazze
Pha and features Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge, and Avery Storm. The
companion video clip, directed by Chris Robinson, is in Heavy rotation
on BET's "Rap City," is the channel's #3 most-played video this week,
and is in "Big Ten" rotation on MTV.


"THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. DUETS" is also being embraced around the world.
With over 200,000 units already sold outside the U.S., the album has
thus far been certified gold in Canada and silver in the UK.


Over two years in the making, the 22-track collection, released on
December 20th, features rhymes recorded by B.I.G. throughout his
career, melded with newly recorded performances by some of
contemporary music's greatest vocalists and MCs. Dozens of superstars
have come together to perform with and pay homage to the legendary
