Gothic Beauty Magazine Award Nominees Announced

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Gothic Beauty, America's
premiere gothic fashion & lifestyle magazine announces the nominees
for its 2005 Readers Choice Awards.

"We started the awards to bring a positive light on a subculture often
misunderstood," says Steven Holiday, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief.
"It's exciting to have the opportunity to recognize such talent. These
people are role models."

First handed out in 2003, the awards have steadily gained stature
within the subculture. "It's a real honor for me," says designer
nominee Kambriel. "The magazine's had some great winners in the past
and I'm so glad to see it continuing this tradition into the future."

The awards are divided into three categories with five nominees in
each. The 2005 Designer of the Year nominees are The Dark Angel,
Kambriel, Aderlass, House of Vamp and Dollflesh Clothing. Band of the
Year nominees are Mephisto Walz, The Dreamside, Ashengrace, Blood and
Laibach. Model of the Year nominees are Apnea, Kerry Scary, Drastique,
Lilah and Aprella.

The winner in each category will be selected by the magazine's
