Sex.com Acquired by Escom, LLC

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Escom, LLC, today announced the
acquisition of the domain name Sex.com, from entrepreneur and Internet
personality Gary Kremen, the CEO of Grant Media, LLC and founder of
Match.com. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. It is believed
to be among the most significant domain sale transactions in history.
Financing for the acquisition was provided in part by Domain Capital
LLC, a leader in the financing of Domain Names and Intellectual
Property.

The new Sex.com will transform into the market-leading adult
entertainment destination by offering compelling, next-generation web
interaction experiences to revolutionize the industry. The new Sex.com
will leverage the millions of monthly unique visitors that are already
coming to the site while it continues to roll-out a host of
professionally produced products and services, including the very
latest in adult entertainment, all presented in a safe environment. It
will provide the most extensive adult dating opportunities, sex and
relationship advice, erotica, multimedia, adult products,
video-on-demand, live video chat, and communities of like-minded
interests.
