International Businessman and Philanthropist Henri Zimand Giving Away 1,000

Carriage Rides Through Central Park During Valentine's Day Week

For every carriage ride taken, Zimand to donate $100

to breast cancer research/prevention and women's health causes

NEW YORK, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- International businessman and
philanthropist Henri Zimand announced today he will be giving away
1,000 carriage rides through New York's Central Park. In addition, for
every carriage ride taken Zimand will donate $100 to breast cancer
research/prevention and women's health organizations.

Zimand is offering the carriage rides and donating the money through
his non-profit foundation Anda's Spirit, which he formed in honor of
his wife, Anda, who died from breast cancer in 2001.

The free carriage rides will be available to the public February 11-14
(10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat.-Mon.; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Tues.) at Columbus Circle
at Central Park South. Couples interested in the free rides can
request a specific day or time in advance at
http://www.andasspiritusa.com, or they can go to the special Anda's
Spirit carriages in Columbus Circle and wait in line. Zimand has
arranged for a special fleet of horse-drawn carriages to handle the
1,000 rides during the four days.

New Yorkers and people visiting New York Feb. 11-14 are encouraged to
show their support by taking a free carriage ride and earning $100 for
the cause. "Every year, I would take my wife to New York on
Valentine's Day for a carriage ride through Central Park," said
Zimand. "I miss those romantic moments, and my wife, very much. I hope
to not only help fight and prevent breast cancer, but also remind
everyone that romance is very much alive. Despite all the terrible
things happening in the world today, there is so much love and beauty;
I want to help people celebrate their love for each other and remember
the truly important things in life."

Anda's Spirit is also sponsoring a Valentine's Day love letter
contest. Romantics across the country can send in their love letters,
with 15 people winning an all-expense paid trip to New York for
Valentine's Day for them and their spouse or significant other. The 15
winners will be announced on February 10. One grand prize winner, who
will be announced on Valentine's Day, will receive a one-week vacation
in Monte Carlo.
