infoUSA Ranked as the Third Best Service Company to Sell For; Powerful
Ranking by Respectable Selling Power Magazine

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 28, 2005--infoUSA (NASDAQ:IUSA),
the leading provider of proprietary business and consumer databases
and sales leads, today announced that the reputable Selling Power
magazine has ranked infoUSA as the third best service company to sell
for in America. This ranking appears in the November/December 2005
issue of the publication. The ranking positions infoUSA as the Top 25
Best Service Company and Top 50 Best Sales Organizations for
prospective salespeople to consider in their career choices of
employers. infoUSA, with a sales force of over 1,000 highly motivated
and talented employees, sells its powerful databases over the Internet
to Global 2000 corporations, small businesses, and individual sales
professionals.

In its annual independent survey, Selling Power considered the
universe of all companies in the U.S. with sales forces of 500 or more
salespeople. The publication sent an extensive survey questionnaire to
the top sales executives, training managers, and Human Resources
managers. The survey questionnaire focused on the most important
attributes considered by prospective sales representatives in
selecting their future employers. The publication then analyzed the
data with a focus on three key metrics: compensation, training, and
career mobility. Some of the important factors considered within these
metrics include: average starting salaries, incentive pay plans,
benefit packages, selling skills training, product knowledge training,
performance reviews, and turnover in the sales force.

infoUSA received a total of 76 points out of a possible maximum point
of 90. On the basis of metrics, infoUSA scored 45 out of 50 points in
the Compensation category, 14 out of 20 points in the Training
category, and 17 out of 20 points in the Career Mobility category.
Overall it is tied in the third place with Motion Industries and
Verizon Information Services. Only Marriott Vacation Club
International and Northwestern Mutual are ranked ahead of infoUSA. Vin
Gupta, the Chairman and CEO of infoUSA, commented, "We are so proud
that a highly regarded sales publication like Selling Power has
accorded our company such a great recognition. We are delighted to be
in the same league of professional sales organizations like Marriott
International, United Parcel Service, Countrywide Home Loans, IKON
Office Solutions, and Sprint. This ranking speaks volume about a
fantastic sales culture we have created to motivate our salespeople
while penetrating the 10 billion dollar plus market opportunity for
sales leads and high quality databases."
