Trusting Excitement
Trusting Excitement (by Susan James) One of the first statements we run across as we begin learning about basic manifesting is to *Follow Your Excitement*. The problem for many, however is that we come into this line of new considerations with what we grew up thinking. Things like: *Oh, I don't want to get too excited about this, it may not work out.* And what do we do? We back down. We stop doing that thing, or we stop doing it consistently. When we say that to others and ourselves, we are actually saying we don't understand the mechanics of excitement. We don't understand its role in our dreams coming true. And if it feels this good, then it must be fleeting or wrong. We don't trust excitement to be the ONE thing that POINTS us to where our treasures lie. There's another mis-step we make, when we are someone who has *tried* lots of projects, usually to bring us money but none of them worked out well. So we hear it from others and we tell ourselves, *there's just another thing that I spent time and money on that didn't work.* We allow mainstream thinking to tell us we have been a failure in all of these things we started but never completed. Two Main Premises of designing our lives from a higher Mechanics are: A. Follow our excitement....and B. Feel good while we do whatever it is we are doing. We can make our dreams come true by following those 2 steps. However, just as I mentioned, those 2 steps are often the ones we mess up on, and so we don't get what we want, and we feel rotten for trying. From a Manifesting Skill perspective, excitement is a higher light vibration. When we make choices from excitement, we usually are led to our next steps towards an intention manifested. If we don't trust that excitement enuf to USE it properly, then it begins to drop into lower light density. We then fall into doubt, and many of us then make our choices from Doubt instead of from the level of Excitement. Therefore, things get worse, and we blame it on our rotten idea or that we quit yet again. That Kills Our Desires and keeps them from Manifesting! It does not matter how many projects we started and never finished. The thing that does matter is HOW we were feeling as we were doing those projects. I have been excited many times about projects I was working on, and then all of a sudden I would run out of money to keep the project moving forward. NEVER ONCE did I berate myself for that work. I instead asked myself this question: *Did I have fun when I was doing it?* And the answer was always YES. I Knew intellectually, that as long as I was having fun in my space, then my light energy vibration was expanding. And what actually happened is that I vibrated myself away from those projects to make room for more expanded ones bringing me the things I wanted. AND No Surprise to me, it is exactly how it has happened. If we are not willing to answer a few simple questions along our own way, then it should be no surprise that we have to *settle* for less of a life than we really want. Here are the main questions: A. Is the choice I'm about to make a fun choice? B. Do I sense any level of excitement around this idea/project/event? If the answer to both is YES, then keep going! If the answer to one or both is NO, then find something else that you can say YES to both A and B!
