2Smart2Manifest?
(by Susan James)
Every once in a while, I like to re-visit the definition of manifestation.
Here's one from Oxford University Press: Manifestation/to Manifest;
The materialization of something.
In all of my experience in *manifestation skills* I can with a secure
level of confidence observe that there are 2 groups that begin to show
an interest in how to manifest by design.
The first group has usually opened themselves up to studies other that
mainstream religion, and they tend to be flexible in expanding their
beliefs.
The second group falls into the analytical area. It has to make human
logical sense and all of the I's and T's must be crossed and dotted, and
it prove itself out by what we have been taught to believe. Not much
flexibility here, but still they *show up*......for some reason, asking
about wanting to make their lives/lifestyles better, and maybe *this*
will *work*.
The second group sometimes is too smart for their own good. They
depend too much on intellectual prowess and less trusting of what
some other aspect of themselves is telling them.
They tend to go with what they think, and less with what feels correct
in each moment. They measure things too much and too far in
advance. And one of the things we begin to understand, is that there is
little human logic to how we can manifest with momentum. Many of
them believe in Murphy's Law and live their lives by it.
And although little human logic is involved, that's the very thing that
keeps those of us that are Too Smart for out own good......STUCK.
Lots of times, the smart ones have a physical life that looks pretty
good, but they know on some level something is missing. They have
fires to put out quite often and they have the money to do so. They
don't see things from the view that you can be happy, have lots of
money and have no fires to keep running around putting out with
larger chunks of money.
And why do the chunks of money and the fires seem to get larger and
larger? Because we think we are 2Smart2Manifest.
Which one are you? And how can you tell?
Here's a test:
A. Did you know that if you write things down and speak them
outloud, that you can then manifest those things?
B. If part of you knew it or hoped it to be the case, would you be
willing to sit down in a chair every day, and write about the things you
want to manifest? Would you then be willing to re-read what you
wrote, outloud? Do you have any level of understanding of the
mechanics involved in doing this, and why, yes why it works?
Do you understand that when you make a grocery list, or an agenda to
follow for the week, and both of those things get done.......that the
very same method works for having our dreams come true?
C. Would you keep doing it, until those things showed up?
I'll tell you this if someone told me, that if I would do something as
easy as eating chocolate every day, and if I did that, then my dreams,
long and short term desires, would all come true......then I would be
*smart* enuf to eat chocolate every single day.
Manifesting is easy. Its when we think we are to smart for our own
good that we get stuck and cry......... foul!
We can be victims in our lives......or we can eat cake, chocolate cake.
